15 The most expensive Pro Max, how prices have risen since the first iPhone until today

With prices starting at $1,199, the new iPhone 15 Pro Max that Apple recently unveiled is the most expensive phone the company has released so far.

Officially, Apple states that the price of the Pro Max model with 256 GB of memory is the same as last year.

But since the company has decided to drop the cheapest 128GB model, it has consequently raised the minimum price one has to pay to get a Pro Max by $100 compared to last year.

Note that the iPhone 15 starts at $799 and the larger iPhone 15 Plus at $899.

Axios’ chart shows the significant rise in iPhone prices over the past few years.

As for prices in Europe, they have not yet been announced, but according to media reports, the iPhone 15 will start from 949 euros in Germany and the iPhone 15 Pro Max from 1449 euros.

Apple is looking to push buyers towards the Pro models, which were first launched in 2019, boosting the company’s revenue.

In fact, Apple has grown its revenue by at least 44% since 2019, while its product shipments have only grown by 15% over the same period, as noted by the Wall Street Journal.

The iPhone continues to make up about half of Apple’s revenue.
